膜分离技术以其能耗低、操作简单、环境友好等优点受到越来越多的关注。近年来，出现了新型的二维材料，如石墨烯，为膜的开展给予了新的机遇。Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering（《化学科研与美高梅(MGM)工程前沿》）组织本期专题“新型膜分离技术和膜过程”，旨在展示相关研究领域的一些令人振奋的进展和成果。
